 Hey there! So this guy Odysseus? Total legend. He's the super smart hero who went on this epic adventure after crushing that famous city of Troy. The dude visited tons of cool spots, vibed with all these different cultures, and went through some major drama at sea. He was just trying to get himself and his crew back home in one piece, you know? But his crew? They totally messed up by snacking on the Sun-god Hyperion's cattle (rookie mistake, am I right?). So the god was like, "Nope, you're not making it home." Wild stuff, seriously. 

So basically everyone who didn't die in battle or get wrecked at sea made it back safe - except our boy Odysseus. He was dying to get back to his wife and homeland, but this goddess Calypso was keeping him in her cave trying to lock him down. After years went by, the gods finally decided to let him head back to Ithaca. But even when he got around his people again, the drama wasn't over! Most of the gods felt bad for him by then, except Neptune who was still holding this major grudge and wouldn't let the poor guy catch a break.
